Bourbon Baroque and Moving Collective

Posted by Daniel Gilliam | Email this to a friend

Moving Collective was created by Theresa Bautista in 2005 and designed to provide the growing number of area choreographers an opportunity to showcase their work, utilizing the depth of talented contemporary dancers in the Louisville area. Bourbon Baroque was founded by Austin Clark and Nicolas Fortin, and performs the music of the 17th and 18th centuries on the instruments for which the music was composed.

These two groups join together for Something Old, Something New on Saturday, February 6, 8pm, at the Ursuline Performing Arts Center at Sacred Heart Schools.

Daniel Gilliam sat down with Austin Clark, Theresa Bautista and cellist Sarah Biber to talk about this unique collaboration. Listen here.
