Lunchtime Classics Schedule
The Lunchtime Classics concert series takes place at noon, Wednesdays at Classical 90.5 located at 619 S. 4th Street in downtown Louisville. Doors open at 11:45am. Brown bag your lunch and join us for this free performance. If you’re a member of Classical 90.5 at the $52 level or higher, call to reserve a free lunch from the City Café (first 20 callers receive a lunch). Call (502) 824-6565 to reserve your lunch by noon the Tuesday before the show. Seating is limited.

Lunchtime Classics – Classical 90.5 Young Artist Recital
The 2010 Classical 90.5 Young Artist Competition Winners’ recital was presented on Wednesday’s Lunchtime Classics. Cellist Ann Richardson, 13, presented Haydn’s Concerto in D and Marimbist Neil Rao, 15, played the Marimba Concerto by Rosauro.

Harpist, Mary Dicken
Harpist Mary Dicken presented a recital of beautiful selections for the holiday season. Here she plays the Interlude (Harp Solo) from Ceremony of Carols, Op. 28, by Benjamin Britten.
Tenor, Samuel Tandei
Tenor Samuel Tandei is a native of Bandung, Indonesia. He is in his final year as a student in the Master of Divinity in Church Music program at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mr. Tandei performed works by J.S. Bach, Mochtar Embut, Hanna Priharto, W.A. Mozart, Ponchielli and Ananda Sukarlan. Ruthanne Fulton is the pianist.

Kentucky Opera – Madame Butterfly
Giacomo Puccini’s immortal Madame Butterfly is the next production by Kentucky Opera (November 19 and 21). General Director David Roth hosts this introduction to the opera with Yunah Lee as Cio-Cio San, Adam Diegel, Pinkerton, John Fanning, Sharpless, and Mika Shigematsu, Suzuki.
Pianists Jay Coughlon and Ethan McCullom
Jay Coughlon and Ethan McCollum performed a program of duos and solos. Both are students of Dror Biran at the University of Louisville School of Music.

Cellist Paul York and pianist Dror Biran provided a preview of their October 13th faculty recital on Lunchtime Classics. In addition to playing Schubert and Shostakovich, the duo played a work by Cincinnati composer Douglas Knehans.
