Lunchtime Classics - new season!

Classical 90.5's live performance program returns for a new season Wednesday, September 10, at 12 noon. Lunchtime Classics presents intimate live performances by local artists - and you're invited! The season begins with Kentucky Opera's preview of their first production fo the new season, Verdi's Otello.

     
 

Louisville Orchestra - new series

The Louisville Orchestra is back on Classical 90.5! We are broadcasting the 2007-2008 Louisville Orchestra season every Sunday at 7pm. Music Director Jorge Mester welcomes soloists including pianist Howard Shelley, violinist Philippe Quint, Harmonica soloist Robert Bonfiglio, and conductors Catherine Comet and Scott Yoo. San Francisco Symphony Orchestra

After the Louisville Orchestra's broadcast season ends, Classical 90.5 continues presenting the best orchestra concerts in the world with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Sundays at 7 pm starting September 7. Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas (photo) leads the SFSO and welcomes guest artists including Dawn Upshaw, Stephen Hough, Midori and Hilary Hahn.
