Live! at the Concertgebouw
Join host Hans Haffmans for Radio Netherlands’ classical music concert series Live! at the Concertgebouw. (Sunday 4 – 6 pm)
Housed in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and built in 1888, the Concertgebouw is considered one of the finest concert venues in the world. In fact, Bernard Haitink who once described the Concertgebouw as the “best instrument in the orchestra it houses.” Today, some nine hundred concerts per year take place in the Concertgebouw, for a public of over 800,000, making it the second most-visited concert hall in the world.
